It’s easy to design and print labels on our website. Customize candle labels from the size, shape, materials, and even their protective finishes. You can upload your ready-made design or create a layout from scratch using our online design tool.
Label Printing Materials That Last
To start printing your custom candle labels, choose between two (2) label formats:
Cut-to-size labels are cut separately and delivered in stacks. This format is ideal for low quantity orders. You can apply cut-to-size labels by hand.
Roll labels are wrapped around a spool, so you can use a dispenser for faster labeling. You can also apply them by hand if you prefer. This format is ideal for large quantity orders.
Next, choose your preferred candle label shape and size.
We offer shapes such as circle, rectangle, circle, and oval, and more unique shapes such as arch, hexagon, heart, and starburst.
Circle is a popular option for our customers because it conforms to the curved shape of candle jars and bottles. This shape is also great for branding the candle jar’s lid.
If you have a different design in mind that’s not in the list of options, try our custom shape option. Select Custom from the Shape dropdown menu and place your desired dimensions. We’ll trim your labels according to their exact shape and size.
Last, choose the right label material for your product.
INDOOR LABEL MATERIALS
These adhesives are suitable for minimalist, eco-friendly brands that want to retain the natural texture of the paper. Yes, you can use paper adhesives for candle labels, but keep in mind these options are not waterproof and wax resistant.
White paper sticker is our all-purpose, indoor material. The surface is writable using a permanent pen or marker. Add matte, gloss, or high-gloss UV coating for extra protection.
White premium sticker paper is our most popular indoor material. This pressure-sensitive adhesive paper stock has a smooth, semi-gloss finish but you can add gloss or matte laminate as well.
Estate adhesive paper is an uncoated label stock that is widely used for its elegant and textured feel. Add a matte UV coating to make it scratch and moisture resistant.
WATERPROOF LABEL MATERIALS
If you need durable and long-lasting labels, we highly recommended these adhesives because they are waterproof and resistant to heat. These can be exposed to oil, candle wax, and water without altering your design.
White vinyl is our toughest label material. It has a UV-resistant, high-gloss finish that makes the surface extra shiny and waterproof. This material is ideal for products exposed to heat and external elements.
BOPP (biaxially oriented polypropylene) is a gloss-laminated, self-adhesive stock made of plastic-like materials. It is tear-resistant, waterproof, and ideal for items that may be exposed to water, oil, and moisture. This comes in clear, white, and metallic silver options.
Candle Label Requirements
What should you put on candle labels? If you’re selling candles as consumer goods for retail, verify your label information with the Fair Packaging and Labeling Act before you start printing.
In general, your main candle label should contain the following information:
- A statement identifying the commodity (e.g., candle, soy wax candle)
- Brand name (including the name and address of manufacturer)
- Net quantity of contents (weight, measurements, or numerical count)
- Contact information and website
Warning labels are also mandatory for candle manufacturers. These are usually found at the bottom of the jar or tin. According to the National Candle Association, your warning label should include the following fire safety information:
- Burn within sight.
- Keep away from combustibles.
- Keep away from children.
You can also add more accurate information about how to burn your candle products safely.
